There are a lot of printers out there which cost an exorbitant amount of money. Some of them are as expensive as desktop computers! Needless to say, not everyone can afford that, which is why so many folks prefer to use printers like the Dell 1110, which is a monochromatic printer. In addition to having its own cartridges, containing Dell 1110 Toner, there are many other attributes which seem to speak well for this printer as well. Many people prefer Dell printers in general, whether they use the manufacturers computers or not. This may be because a lot of them are actually put on the market by Lexmark, which is a forerunner in the printer industry.

Most experts consider this printer an entry level printer. It is also monochromatic, of course, thus prints in black and white. It is extremely inexpensive, compared to other printers in general and the Dell printer models in particular.

This printer does not take up enough space, which makes it a good choice for both home offices and more professional office space. It is also quite light, which is refreshing given how cumbersome larger printers tend to be, making them almost impossible to move from one spot to another.

In order to print your documents, you have to open it by way of unfolding its paper support, which is located in the output tray, itself found on the top of the printer. You then need to open up the front cover, which is used to form the input tray. The printer does not have a paper cover, however, which does mess with the convenience factor a bit.

However, this is somewhat neutralized by the fact that the printer will fit pretty much anywhere. Better still, it is set up to provide easy installation when it comes to inserting the printer cartridges. The toner cartridges and drum are integrated. The printer has a handle which folds out, allowing for a good grip when you have to insert the cartridges.

There are two indicator lights located on the top surface of the printer. There is an indicator for the power button and one meant to show errors, such as paper jams and other problems. When the printer is receiving data and when documents are being printed, then the lights flash in different combinations. A control button works to cancel the current work in progress. In the back of the printer, there is a power socket and a USB socket.

Installing this printer onto a computer is a simple endeavor too. There are many helpful applications. One of them involves being taken to the supply site for Dell when the printer begins running out of Dell Toner.
